Crediting Guide:
Like anything else in the computer age, the process of completing offers for money occasionally has glitches in it. There are a few steps you’ll want to go through to make it as easy as possible for the advertisers to know where to send your credit. The most important of these steps is to clear your cookies and cache every time, just before you log on to the IFW. This is easiest to do on Firefox. But whichever browser you’ve chosen to use, (In case you missed it earlier, do NOT use Internet Explorer SEVEN to complete offers; IE6 and IE8 are both OK), you can find information on how to clear the cookies and cache by clicking on the following links:

I know. You’re confused. Please trust me on this one point. I 100% PROMISE that it’s much easier to do than it is to explain. Once you’ve done it twice, you’ll have it down pat, and you’ll be able to do the whole thing in 30 seconds. After that, you can advise me on how to make this page sound less scary and intimidating than it currently is. I’ve edited it about a hundred times, and I still get nervous emails almost every day about this. Don’t panic. It’s easy.
3. Lastly, to be 100% sure that you’ve done everything to maximize your chances of getting your credit, you’ll want to shut down Google and Yahoo toolbars. Using Firefox, this is really easy. Just head back up to “Tools” then “Add-ons”. Double-check to make sure that you do NOT have the Google Toolbar or the Yahoo Toolbar active. If you don’t see them at all there, then they’re not active (don’t laugh, I got about ten emails asking about that before I put that sentence in. If you DO see them, and they ARE active, click on “Disable” to shut them off. Both of these toolbars are known to cause problems with crediting. If you really like them, you can enable them again after you’ve completed your offers.

4. Last option, and it’s truly optional. Occasionally your anti-virus protection can interfere with crediting. Many people advocate turning it off when you’re completing offers. If you’re 100% certain that you’ll remember to turn it back on when you’re done, this is the right way to go.
To be honest, I never turned mine off. I was simply too afraid that I’d forget to turn it back on, and I was willing to take the risk. I completed a total of 58 offers in this program, and got credit for 52 of them. I probably would have done better if I’d shut off my Anti-virus program. But most offers cost less than $5. My computer system cost $1800. I figured I’d rather just do an extra offer to finish a site if I didn’t get the credit. You can make whatever decision you’re comfortable with.
That’s the whole process. You want to go through that just before you log on to any IFW to complete offers. I know that it seems complicated right now, but don’t worry–once you’ve done it a few times, you’ll see that you can do the whole thing in just about thirty seconds. And this is the hardest part of the business. Everything else is much easier.
If you’re still with me at this point, you’ll be happy to know that you’ve already read through the most complicated part. Click on this link to continue:
