Registering for Your First Site:

And now, at long last, here’s my referral link to your first site:

http://ocean.paradisefreebies.com/?ref=1260
(I pay $30 to your PayPal account when you complete the offer requirements).

That’s the link you’ll click on when you‘re ready to get started. Please finish reading this page before you start. If you’d like to telephone or IM me as you go through this process this would be a good time. I’m at ksarner1 on both AIM and YIM, or call (570)762-5093 if its before midnight Eastern time. Please don’t telephone after midnight, I can’t talk while using the computer without waking my wife. IMs are fine.

(Don’t lose your credit here. The process is: FIRST clear cookies and cache, THEN log onto the free site, THEN go to the offers page to complete offers. You didn’t really think I was going to put that link there without reminding you one more time, did you?)

1. When you click on my referral link, you’ll see this:

This is where you select your prize. It doesn’t matter at all which prize you select at this point. You’ll get paid by ME as soon as you finish, but you won’t be getting your prize from the site for a while, and you can change your mind any time you want and as often as you want, so you might as well choose the $60 one for now, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen, where you’ll find this:

What IS important is that you see the little line that says “You are being referred by user 1260″. It will be down near the bottom of the page If you don’t see that, STOP and contact me. It’s fixable if you sign up unreferred, but it takes a couple of days, it’s a nuisance, and neither of us gets paid until it gets fixed. Best to head off that problem immediately. Assuming that you see that message, you can safely give them your email address, make up a password, and click on “Submit”.

2. After you’ve given them your email address, you’ll be taken to this page:

This is your last chance to make sure that you’re not signing up unreferred. (Check at the top of the page). Also note that you can’t go any further until you agree to their Terms and Conditions. You can read the Terms and Conditions if you want, but there’s nothing tricky in them. You must sumbit real and true information. They check, 100% of the time.

How to Go Green

4. When you’re done submitting your information to the site, you’ll be taken to this page:

Underneath that, there will be about 150-200 offers to choose from. To go green, you need to complete and receive credit for enough offers to get one full credit. This site uses percentages. Some sites use fractions, but you’ll always need one full credit (or more, but you don’t get paid extra for doing more). Before you get started, tick the box that says “MCR Accepted”, then the “Refresh” button off to the right. That will reduce the number of available offers considerably, but it will also greatly enhance your chances of getting the credits you deserve. “MCR Not Accepted” offers are just as good, but it’s best to save them for when you have more experience and you’re less likely to make a mistake.

Incidentally, MCR stands for “Manual Credit Request”. I’ve got a whole additional tutorial on MCRs, but you won’t need to worry about them for a bit. I’ll get it to you later on, when it’s more relevant. For now, just tick that “MCR Accepted” box, then the “Refresh” button, and carry on.

Next, find the link which says “View Offers as List”. Click on it. This will NOT change the number of offers, and it will NOT change the offers that are available, but it WILL dramatically change the way they’re displayed. Everyone has their own preference as to which they like better, and they all hate the opposite way. Pick the one you like. Either way, the offers are the same, so it doesn’t matter which you choose, other than cosmetically.

Not that however you choose to display it, each offer has three characteristics:

1. The value of the offer in credits

2. The cost of the offer

3. How long it will take to credit (this is a guess–even offers that say they’re “Instant”, or “Shortly” can take a few hours to a day)

You’ll want to consider all 3 of these things in addition to the product being offered before you decide whether you’re interested in the offer.

When you find an offer that you’d like to try, click on the Offer Name, which is easy to find if you have the offers displayed as a list, or is ABOVE the offer description if you have them displayed in their normal Format.

To save you the trouble of going back and digging them all out again, I’m putting the links to some of my most important tutorials here. They’re set up to open in new windows, so you can click back and forth between them as needed.

Guide to selected offers

Incidentally, there are a few offers which will telephone you within a day or two after you place the order, to verify that you’re a real person, and that your order was legitimate. If you don’t answer, they’ll leave a message, and if you don’t return the message, you’ll lose the credit. It’s not common at all, but be aware that it does occasionally happen.

Once you’ve completed enough offers to get one full credit or more, you’re done with this IFW! Contact me to get paid and receive your next one. Again: crediting times are approximate. “Instant” or “Shortly” may mean “a few hours”, or even “a day or two”. Don’t worry. You don’t need to sit around making no money while we wait. Just let me know that you’re done and I’ll get you started on another site. You’ll end up with two greens in the time it would normally take to get one.

That‘s it! Scroll back up, clear your cookies and cache, and click on my referral link. Or you can just use this one:

Good luck, keep in close contact with me throughout the process, and most of all, have fun!
